Spammers & News

One day, just maybe one day spammers will learn that I dont tolerate their kind. As a result ALL gmail accounts have been banned from future registration, which is effective a week ago.

Another bit of news as well. The site will be going offline for an extended period of time in the next week or so. No, I'm not killing it, I'm replacing the machine that its running on for expanded functionality for my other more important sites and projects.

134 Names on the wall, knock some down 52 names...

Just went through the site and deleted 82 inactive accounts. Sure, there's a few inactive accounts but they are tied into the RPG manager and cannot be deleted by me using the ACP or Rogue Admin. See here for the list.

For the uninitiated, I DO google email addresses to see if they show up on spamlists. So if you are a spammer make sure get a new email address. Most of the email addresses are automatically flagged by the system anyway before I even investigate.

The site has been moved once again. I have relocated the pages and CMS into my in-house server to save a little cash, not that the site has an audience anyway.

However, the downloads will still be served from the main server. Any and all page requests will be handled by the in-house server.

In memory of Dad

Its with much regret that last night (march 1, 2010) my dad, passed away at 7:18PM while I was rushing to the hospital 70 miles away in Gainesville. He was 19 days away from his birthday. He was fighting Pneumonia early last month and took a turn for the worst when a blood clot broke loose in his leg and went to his lungs. He was in the ICU for the past few weeks fighting.

Its been 7-8 years since I've last seen him and it was not on good terms. However, last Friday at the hospital he was awake and doing better and he did see me there and I was able to talk to him a little.

RIP dad.

So, would anyone like to see a 2 The Xtreme web comic of some of the storyline of Chronicles of Quizorthia?

Vote in the poll, because if there is any interest I'll make use of some of the characters in the database and take them through the story for all to see.

This actually tells me someone loves me enough to spend the few minutes it takes to pull their zombies together to launch an attack. Whoever is in charge of this has actually shown some intellegence that isn't visible in the other google cut-n-paste skript kiddies.
